Intel buys Movidius and moves into the world of vision processors for drones.

Apple will have a big event today. Here comes the next iPhone.

Microsoft failed at buying Skype, so now it is trying to build a competitor.

Amazon updates it Fire TV products.

Solving another problem that only exist for 1%, Amazon has restuarant delivery in London.

A possible link among car fumes, iron, and dementia.

ITT Technical Institute closes after 50 years; thousands of persons lose their jobs. This is because our government cut off ITT's students from Federal student loans.

Microsoft's UK data center region is now online.

Freedom of speech remains dead in Cuba. Sure haven't seen any movement there since our President decided to be the Castro's buddy.

Frustrations of building a hyperloop in California. This is normal for building anything in California.

Apple showed the iPhone 7; all the hardware is better, except maybe the sure-to-lose wireless earbuds. This is one link to many stories about the event. A new Watch series was shown as well as updates to iPads. No new computers of the regular variety.

Instagram already has new features specifically for the iPhone 7 new camera.

Why did Apple remove the headphone jack? Simple. It was too big.

Intel spins off McAfee and gets $3billion.

The ugly details of the stupid mistakes of how OPM was hacked and 21million personnel files stolen.

Google's Jigsaw has developed a tool to redirect potential terrorist recruits.

This is just cool. Put your Raspberry Pi into a miniature recreation of an old Apple computer.

Comma Chameleon: does nothing but allow you to edit csv files. Function only, not fluff.

Raspberry Pi has shipped 10million units. These guys should get a Nobel Prize for the most successful education project in history.

If you didn't notice, Apple walked away from the luxury jewelry (watch) market.

"Tech" companies solve another problem that doesn't exist: Google will deliver Chipotle burritos to Va Tech students via drone on a one-month trial.

Nvidia releases the GeForce Experience 3.0.

Our US government now has a Chief Information Security Officer. We are safe from....er, uh, something.

Wells Fargo employees created a million fake accounts and stole a lot of money. 5300 of them caught and fired.

IBM updates its Power8 processors with hopes of battling Intel in the server business.

After an explosion on pad, SpaceX may be ground for a year.

Now that Dell and EMC have merged, 3,000 persons are laid off.

And now we start the rumors for Microsoft's October hardware event.

Nest adds Sightline feature to its web cam so you can quickly see important events remotely.

Apple may be quietly backing out of the self-driving car business.

It seems that Amazon will open 100 pop-up stores in US malls next year.

Microsoft introduces "guest access" to Office 365. You include outsiders in your collaborative efforts.

Marissa Mayer to get $44million if fired. Nice job if you can get it.

Tech skills that will earn you more money. (ha ha ha) Know someone who will hire you.

A Volkswagon engineer sort of pleads guilty to using a defeat device to fool the EPA. No one is pounding the EPA for being so easily fooled.

PCs and game consoles continue their drift towards one another.

gab.ai: a social network with free speech. Imagine such a thing in 21st-century America.

The coming privacy wars. Most don't care, but a few do. And those few are passionate.

GitHub grows out of the "bossless" organization. They need a little bit more organization.
