I have to ask.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are going to emphasize X. My first reaction is, &#8220;what do you mean when you say X?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>X can be just about anything:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>small<\/li>\n<li>large<\/li>\n<li>speed<\/li>\n<li>quality<\/li>\n<li>size<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yes, short, one-syllable words have been redefined by everyone. I am no longer surprised by the definitions I receive.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Me: What do you mean by &#8220;speed&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Them: Well, by &#8216;speed&#8217; I mean the size of the package that is delivered.<\/p>\n<p>Me: What?<\/p>\n<p>Them: You know, large packages take more time to throw away.<\/p>\n<p>Me: Huh?<\/p>\n<p>Them: What&#8217;s the matter, you stupid or something?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And so it goes. Always ask.
