Why do we do that? I find two answers to that question.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The world is not complicated – at least if viewed from certain perspectives.<\/p>\n

  1. Why do we burn fossil fuels?<\/li>\n
  2. Why do athletes use steroids?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Simple answer<\/strong>: because they work.<\/p>\n

    But we move on to observing people do things that don’t work.<\/p>\n

    1. Why do people over eat?<\/li>\n
    2. Why do people drive faster than the speed limit?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Simple answer<\/strong>: because we like to.<\/p>\n

      So there we have it, the explanations of the world: (1) because it works and then (2) because we like to.<\/p>\n

      Yes, there are many questions for which these two answers don’t apply. I urge you, however, to consider these two answers first.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
