I find two answers to that question.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The world is not complicated &#8211; at least if viewed from certain perspectives.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Why do we burn fossil fuels?<\/li>\n<li>Why do athletes use steroids?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Simple answer<\/strong>: because they work.<\/p>\n<p>But we move on to observing people do things that don&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Why do people over eat?<\/li>\n<li>Why do people drive faster than the speed limit?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Simple answer<\/strong>: because we like to.<\/p>\n<p>So there we have it, the explanations of the world: (1) because it works and then (2) because we like to.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, there are many questions for which these two answers don&#8217;t apply.
