Writing, like most endeavors and systems, has a hierarchy. There is a trade-off between resources spent and quality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have a writing hierarchy. It has something to do with a trade-off of time and quality. My hierarchy is basically:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. jot on a napkin<\/li>\n
  2. note in my journal<\/li>\n
  3. my daybook<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. blog posts<\/li>\n
  5. paid posts and articles<\/li>\n
  6. books<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Posts like this one are given to the world at no cost. I hope they generate interest in paid writing, but most of the time they don’t.<\/p>\n

    Paid writing is rare these days. Nevertheless, I spend more thought, time, and effort on those.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
